Official Thread Schedule TBA! That's what I was getting at, there are plenty of responsible drivers, many of my friends own/have owned nice, fast sports cars and I've only known one to have gotten in an accident back when he first started driving. The fact of the matter is that wrecking a car can happen to anyone, but the idiots with these faster, more powerful cars tend make dumb decisions much more often than your responsible driver.

Now would learning to drive in a nice, rear-wheel drive car help them in these situations, possibly, in the event of a spin out, loose back end, whatever, you have to keep a level head and not overreact and that's where the learning on powerful cars could help.
Titleist will release 1,000 sets of the new C16 concept irons and 1,500 C16 drivers to the public soon. The C16 driver is Titleist's first foray into the movable weight arena. Xforce keygen for autocad 2015. It has a titanium body and by the looks of it, the weights are positioned back of center on the sole of the driver for increased MOI. It is a 445cc driver with an 811 Ti body and ATI-425 Ti crown to push the center of gravity lower. A multitude of shaft options will be available and the driver will cost $999.
The C16 irons will be a hollow body iron and the 4-iron through 7-iron will be multi-material construction with 8-iron through pitching wedge being made of 1RK95 stainless steel. More than double the amount of Tungsten in the 4-7 irons than is found in the 716 AP1s. The size on these babies is said to be between an AP2 and AP1.
An 8 piece set (4-P and Gap wedge) is $2,699 for steel shaft and $2,999 for graphite shaft users. The driver is becoming a huge (unhit) underground sensation. The design sure does make a lot of sense, especially for the better player, but we have yet to have any test numbers. The irons seem to be geared to a different market, which is curious, but will undoubtedly be a hit with anyone looking to pick up a little distance and forgiveness. What do you think about the new C16's?
Could they be worth the higher price tag? for steel shaft and $2,999 for graphite shaft users.who are we kidding, nobody that actually plays traditional graphite is allowed to purchase. Edited by Mahamilto, 18 April 2016 - 05:02 PM. This is the next arena for club manufacturers. 'The premium market'.

I think they're realizing that they cannot generate the sales numbers the did from the 'technology boom era' as the clubs are pretty much maxed out at this point. So how do they find areas for growth? They create a 'premium' market. The same way PXG is doing. If you can't make clubs perform better - you can always make them nicer. If you can't increase your sales - you find a way to increase your margins.

You sir are no idiot. You've always got to be skeptical with these limited releases. However, getting your name in the hat early could allow you to enjoy the clubs first or enjoy the profit sooner.

Why can't they just make a driver and set of irons that is really good and cheap. Normal people can't afford to spend $1000 on a driver and $3000 on a set of irons Maybe I'm extremely wrong but i think more people would be happy with a good set of irons for like $600 and a good driver for like $250, and I think they would sell a metric s. ton if they did too.
These clubs are not replacing all of Titleist's line or preventing other companies from selling clubs at lower pricepoints. There are literally thousands of new and used quality clubs that are available cheaper. Just check Golfsmith. Tons of quality irons available from under $600 and drivers for under $250.
Also high-priced clubs (e.g. Miura, Epon, Honma, etc.) have always existed. For whatever reason, they are becoming mainstream knowledge now. Edited by kevyboy, 19 April 2016 - 07:32 AM.

That's basically what this is. Completely agree! I was going to say the same thing. I think PXG has opened up some eyes. The 'Limited Release' is a great way to test the market. There's always a few people out there with too much money in their pocket looking to differentiate themselves from the common folks.:-). I'd buy me a set and driver.

And put these bad boys in a display case where they belong. These belong in a display case? For their rich history or their Stunning good looks?
3 grand for a Set of Irons. Lol golf people are adorable. I think they look awesome.
Realistically if I had the money to buy a set of irons and driver. They are gonna be worth some money later on just because it's Titleist and it's a limited prototype. I see dollar signs.
Others see pure ugliness. Edited by Golfnut801, 19 April 2016 - 09:10 AM.
