Graphtec Craft Robo Pro Driver

Hi, I somewhat foolishly updated to mavericks (got excited no doubt.) without checking if it supports all peripherals that i use with my iMac! I have a craft robo running latest cutting software (Cutting Master 2 v1.90 - was running v.1.88 at time of update) but neither work with new mavericks OSX. By not working when I select cut/plot in illustrator I get a dialogue box 'Connecting to Production Manager.'

These instructions go over two versions for using the Craft ROBO, on a Mac one directly from Illustrator, the other on Windows using Craft ROBO software calledROBO Maser. For Windows option download drivers and other things from link above. A window pops up and the name should be Graphtec Craft ROBO. CE500-40 /Craft ROBO Pro - Professional Desktop. The Craft ROBO Pro is based on Graphtec's CE5000 series of professional cutting plotters. The Craft ROBO Pro has a maximum cutting width of 15' (takes media up to 19' wide).

Then another with 'Cutting Master 2 CraftROBO 1.90 quit unexpectedly.' IGNORE - REPORT - REOPEN, all 3 options continue a loop back to same dialogue box.

I realise that it would make more sense to contact graphtec (manufacturers of craft robo) than post here, so I did - but no reply yet! Reasons for posting are two fold, raise awareness of fault/problem and also chancing someone else has come across a work around or source of new driver. Apologies if this is the wrong section. IMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9) Posted on Nov 10, 2013 4:55 AM.

I realise this is a bit or a drag up of an old thread, but I have a Craft Robo vinyl cutter model: CC200-20 that I am trying to run through either my MacBook Pro or an iMac, both running OS 10.9.4, without luck. There is obviously some info getting through as when I send a file through Illustrator to the plotter, the head whizzes back and forth and taps up and down a few times in the right hand corner of the loaded media, but doesn't actually cut anything. I've tried installing the CM2 program from Graphtec's site, but it doesn't even give a format for a file to run through it, despite trying everything from JPEG to PDF - every file I save is just greyed out. I can set the plotter up through system prefs printer options and every program I run can see it as an option to selevct to print to, only problem is actually getting it to communicate to cut anything. Any help anyone can offer would be massively appreciated. Thanks in advance.
